Who Am I?

I am a singer a songwriter a performer
I am a husband a father a leader
But I am dust
I am nothing without God, He alone gave me value
I am a son, a child of God, in His image
I have done NOTHING to earn His love, and favor, but because He is my creator
He chose me, He valued me and He gifted me
I long to truly be that tool that He values, that He uses
I want to be an instrument that He plays and that graces the ears of all who hear, but
Mostly beautiful because I am in His hands
And when He hears the tones that I make, because of His handiwork, it makes Him smile
Because of Him, you and I can be melodious, be real, be real melodious!
